Sinfiksen syyskausi on alkamassa pian!

Harjoitukset ovat 2.9. alkaen klo 17 musiikin laitoksen salissa M103. Sen lisäksi orkesterilla on muutamat harjoitusviikonloput.

Syksyllä Sinfistä johtavat Matias Lahti ja Mari Karppinen, ja kausi tehdään yhteistyössä Hehku-kuoron kanssa. Ohjelmistossa on

Brahms – Traaginen alkusoitto

Mukaan soittamaan pääsee ilmaantumalla paikalle (tule ajoissa, niin jaamme nuotit ja katsomme stemmajakoja). Jos et pääse ensimmäisiin harjoituksiin, laita viestiä tulemaan intendentti@sinfis.fi. Samasta osoitteesta saa vastauksia mahdollisiin kysymyksiin 🙂

The fall season of the university orchestra is starting soon!

The rehearsals are every Monday in hall M103 of the music department, starting on 2.9. at 17 o’clock. In addition to this, we’re having a few rehearsal weekends.

Matias Lahti and Mari Karppinen are conducting, and the concert is in collaboration with the choir Hehku. The program is

Brahms – A German Requiem
Brahms – Tragic Overture

You can join by turning up to our rehearsals (come early, so we can distribute sheet music and have a look at the sections). If you can’t make it to the first rehearsal, shoot me a message at intendentti@sinfis.fi. If you have any additional questions, you can reach answers from the same address 🙂

Sinfiksen kevätkausi huipentuu konserttiin Hannikaissalissa, Suomalaisella Musiikkikampuksella.
Konsertti järjestetään sunnuntaina 28.4.2024 klo 16 alkaen.

Ennakkolipunmyynti on alkanut Sinfiksen 30-vuotisjuhlakonserttiin Est. 1993.

Konsertti soitetaan yliopiston päärakennuksella salissa C1, lauantaina 25.11. klo 17:00. Konsertissa kantaesitetään Riki Hakulisen teos Siivettömät ja Tšaikovskin 5. sinfonia.

Liput ovat 15 euroa tai 10 euroa alennusryhmiltä (opiskelijat, eläkeläiset, varusmiehet, työttömät, entiset Sinfiksen soittajat).

The symphony orchestra of University of Jyväskylä celebrates its 30 years of music with a concert on the 25th of November. The concert in in the University main building hall C1, starting 17:00.

Pyotr Tchaikovsky: Symphony no 5

Summer has ended and a new semester is starting. During the summer the orchestra has had some private event gigs with a small ensemble.

In the summer we have also started on preparing for the fall. This year is the 30th anniversary of Sinfis, for which a grand concert is held on 25.11. in the university main building. Other celebrations are also being planned.

However, before the festivities Sinfis has a concert with university wind band Puhkupillit. The concert is on 7.9. at 19:15, and is a part of JYUnityfest.

The rehearsal of the ochestra is on Mondays at 17:00 in hall M103 of music deparment (Musica-building). We hope for lots of new players, irregardless of instrument.
